Blossom

Lottie is excited when a lost little girl, Blossom, arrives on her doorstep. Lottie, who only has Uncle Bobby in the world, has always wanted a sister. But Blossom isn’t like other kids. She doesn’t speak and is obsessed with her flower, refusing to go anywhere without it. But everything changes when Blossom gets sick, and she is taken away.

Lottie, with the help of her friends, must do whatever it takes to rescue her.

Praise for Blossom

Blossom heads along at a great pace to an exciting conclusion. This novel would make a great read-aloud to a Year 3 or 4 class, and would offer some great points for class discussion too. A great jumping off point for lessons about immigration, discrimination, or asylum seekers.’
